how we do it

Our timber is principally sourced in the UK & Europe & always from managed sources. We plant more trees than we use. We do not plunder the hedgerows of Britain. Where local timber is available, we use it but the sheep got there before us in Wiltshire! We love windblow walnut.

Most of our pieces are finished in beeswax or oil, please don't get Matthew started on the vagaries of plastic finishes on wood.
