The body of this shapely box is made from ash and the top from increasingly rare English pippy elm. Dutch elm disease ravaged the country's elm trees in the early 1970s, when Matthew was an apprentice. It was heartbreaking to see these majestic trees disappear from our landscape, so here is an opportunity to own a little bit of history.
