Travellers usually whizz through this part of South Wiltshire, plying their way to and from
the West Country, but should you stop and stick a pin in Hindon and take a 30-mile radius, there's an astonishing wealth and diversity of places to visit: from Bath to the north, Salisbury and Wilton to the east, Shaftesbury to the west and the beautiful Cranbourne Chase to the south. We can offer you stately homes and castles, gardens and plains, cathedrals
and tea rooms.

By car
from the London direction:
M3–off for A303 (junction 8 Andover).
A303–Amesbury–Stonehenge–Winterbourne Stoke.
10 miles after Winterbourne Stoke you will come down a hill on a dual carriageway.
At the bottom of the hill, turn left off A303, following signs for Fonthill Bishop, Hindon and Tisbury.
In Fonthill Bishop turn right at the junction onto B3089. Hindon is 1.5 miles.
Pass the village sign and follow the sharp left-hand bend.
The Lamb Inn is on your left and the showroom is in front of you.

By car
from the Exeter direction:
A303–bypass Mere.
After uphill dual carriageway, turn right at Willoughby Hedge Esso garage.
After 1.5 miles, come to traffic lights, turn right and then immediately left, following signs to Hindon which is a further 2 miles.
Pass the village sign and when you see the Angel Inn on your left, indicate to turn right. This is a tricky bend in the road and you need to turn right down the High Street, but not for far, as we are tucked in on the right opposite the Lamb Inn.

By train
Trains regularly run to Salisbury (Waterloo to Exeter line) plus taxi journey of 25 minutes.
Trains run less regularly to the next station, Tisbury, plus taxi journey of 10 minutes.

By air
